Also, a huge thank you is due to everyone who has represented the school throughout the course of the football season. Though all of the regular fixtures have now been completed, our superb cup progress across the six county competitions means that both the U13s and U14s will have at least one more game. Meanwhile, a full list of cricket fixtures for next term are now available on the Fixtures and Calendar pages. Reading School lost 16 - 2 to Portsmouth Pythons in a thrilling match of lacrosse today.
Our Lacrosse A and B teams played through the rainy conditions today to finish in 3rd and 5th places respectively in the Holder Trophy.
This week is by far the busiest week of cup action for a long time, with the next round of five different competitions taking place. The Football 1st XI will be aiming to put their extra time loss behind them as they take on Sandhurst School tomorrow in the County Cup, while our Lacrosse Team travel to London to compete in the Holder Trophy. Meanwhile, the second round of our U18 and U15 national rugby competitions are taking place on Wednesday and Thursday respectively, with each team hoping to get one step closer to the Twickenham final. Finally, our U14s will be looking to win their first match of the season when they play Windsor Boys for the second time in the first round of the County Cup.
Good luck to all of our teams! Congratulations to our Lacrosse 1st XI, who successfully defeated TASIS 9-6, with M Lidbetter securing the Man of the Match award. We look forward to playing TASIS again next week in the away leg.
Our Lacrosse team has lost 7 - 1 to the International School of Brussels in a performance that showed lots of potential for the future.
